First Lady Michelle Obama was recently photographed volunteering at a Feeding America food bank event in Washington, DC. She wore a $540 pair of suede Lanvin sneakers with a metallic toe cap and grosgrain ribbon shoelaces.
Mrs. Obama's sneakers came from Ikram, an exclusive Chicago-based boutique where she often gets her clothes.

Celebrities Kanye West and Ellen DeGeneres are also big fans of Lanvin sneakers
Mrs. Obama wore a J Crew cardigan as part of her outfit.
Sneakers from the oldest French couture house are often sold out everywhere despite the high price points.

Lanvin Women's Sneakers in Denim (Spring/Summer 2009 Collection)
Denim is all the rage at the House of Lanvin, especially with their collaboration with Swedish jeans company Acne for Spring/Summer 2009. This women's denim sneaker from Lanvin is such a classic piece. We love the black patent-leather toe details.

Where to Buy Lanvin Sneakers and Shoes Online
There are several places online where fans could buy Lanvin sneakers, shoes and footwear. All of the retailers we list below sell 100% genuine merchandise. We recommend that you buy from authorized Lanvin outlets.
1. Luisa Via Roma [click here]
Luisa Via Roma is a luxury store based in Florence, Italy. They carry the latest, new-season Lanvin shoes for men & women. They ship anywhere in the world and they also offer free FedEx shipping to USA, Canada and Europe. If you live outside these areas, shipping is free for orders above 500 euros. We love Luisa Via Roma (and shopping in Europe) because non-Europeans get huge tax-free savings resulting to prices lower than that elsewhere.
2. Net-a-Porter [North America][Rest of the World]
Net-a-Porter is one of the world's leading online retailers. They're veterans of the online luxury industry and they ship anywhere in the world via DHL. They have two websites -- one for those who live in North America and another one for those who live elsewhere. They carry a range of women's Lanvin shoes. They don't carry men's shoes here.
3. Colette
Colette is a Parisian institution. A visit to Paris won't be complete without a visit to Colette. Colette is a multi-brand concept store mixing cheap yet chic merchandise with ultra luxxe high fashion pieces.
4. Barney's New York
Barney's is one of the very few retailers in the USA who carry Lanvin. Unfortunately, Barney's could only ship within the United States and they do not offer international shipping on their website. Also, their mark-up is so high compared to the European shops. A pair of men's low-cut sneakers start from $500 and their high-tops are usually at $800+; almost twice the amount of their European counterparts.
5. eBay [click here]
eBay is no doubt the world's largest auction house. Buying from eBay means buying from a third-party seller (often individuals). Before you buy something from eBay we suggest that you check, re-check and verify the authenticity of the item you are purchasing.
